1. Ensure Material Readiness and Supply Continuity
You will monitor supply and demand, identify material constraints, and work with planning teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure uninterrupted supply for production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring material and component availability for manufacturing
- Monitoring demand changes and supply constraints
- Supporting inventory optimization
- Driving material readiness for NPI, product transition, and EOL
- Reviewing CTB, build plan, and ship plan with contract manufacturers
- Eliminating gating parts per SKU to prevent production disruption
2. Work Closely with Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers
This position requires strong supplier and manufacturer management capabilities. You will help manage relationships and performance with strategic suppliers and manufacturing sites.
The role involves:
- Reviewing supplier and manufacturer performance
- Following up on build plans, ship plans, quality, capacity, and delivery
- Escalating supply risks impacting production or customer delivery
- Driving improvements in supplier responsiveness and reliability
- Monitoring KPIs such as build plan health, ROP fulfillment, LTA-T, ocean shipment ratio, and ECO execution
3. Manage Supply Chain Risks
In a global manufacturing environment, supply chain disruptions can come from many areas: material shortages, capacity issues, logistics delays, geopolitical risks, or sudden demand changes.
The candidate will support risk management by:
- Identifying potential risks early
- Developing mitigation and contingency plans
- Leading supply recovery actions during escalations
- Supporting business continuity and resiliency plans
- Managing escalated orders and urgent recovery cases
4. Lead Cross-Functional Supply Chain Execution
This role is highly cross-functional. You will work with teams such as:
- Global Material Management
- Global Category Management
- Manufacturing Operations
- Logistics
- Quality
- Suppliers and contract manufacturers
The successful candidate should be comfortable influencing stakeholders, driving alignment, and supporting executive-level supply chain reviews.
You may also be involved in implementation of:
- ECO
- DEV
- MCO
- Qualification Builds
- Product transitions
- Cost and timeline tracking
5. Use Data to Drive Better Decisions
Strong data analysis is an important part of this role. You will develop and review supply chain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to support business decisions.
Main data-related activities may include:
- Analyzing demand variability
- Reviewing supplier performance
- Tracking inventory trends
- Monitoring fulfillment metrics
- Preparing KPI reports and QBR scorecards
- Reviewing CMINV and E&O reports
- Supporting monthly and quarterly business reviews

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Mandarin Chinese is a plus
- Experience with ERP/planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis, or equivalent
- Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Familiarity with CTB, build plan, BOM, ECO, and DEV
